I interviewed Cathal Coughlan during the summer before the release of his Rancho Tetrahedron album, it features in the latest issue of the most excellent Ice Cream For Quo magazine. Follow the link.

Since 2007 Family Taboo have refused to let ability, tunefulness or the continuous presence of Ed Gein-alikes get in the way of what has begun.

Herzlich Willkommen
This Blog will shortly be operational. The plan is to provide a platform for digital downloads of the back catalogue, some prose and texts, as well as accompanying visual and video manifestations of the music of Family Taboo. Much of this is intended as a means of loosening some of the insularity that at one time contributed to the nature of this music but can have an imponderable and deadening effect occasionally. It is by no means an attempt to go to the marketplace, but pragmatism suggests that it might be of value to open to the world a little bit.
